ASOS launches a 51-piece adaptive fashion line co-designed with disabled customers
This is not just easier clothing to put on—the collection tries to make adaptive fashion stylish enough for weddings, work and nights out.
ASOS launched its first adaptive clothing collection, a 51-piece range developed with accessibility consultancy Tilting the Lens and disabled customers.
The range includes magnetic fastenings, hidden zips, tube access, discreet device pockets and proportions adjusted for seated wearers—but deliberately focuses on fashion and occasionwear rather than only basics.
Why it matters
Adaptive clothing has often been treated as a medical or functional niche. ASOS is testing whether accessibility can be integrated into mainstream fashion from the beginning rather than added afterward.
The collection launched globally with prices roughly between £32 and £65.
