Max Verstappen took part in Red Bull's “Max vs. 100” karting challenge at Silverstone, starting behind 100 competitors and reaching the front in just 14 laps and roughly 35 minutes.
Why it mattered
It was an exhibition, not a Formula One race, but it became a striking demonstration of just how different elite racecraft looks against ordinary competitive drivers.
The fun part
Verstappen joked that it was his first win of the season, even though the event had nothing to do with the F1 championship.
